Screw Compressor Spares Kits

Howden Compressors' pre-packaged screw compressor spares kits are available for both the XRV and WRV model ranges.

XRV Spares Kits 
Seal kit
Shaft seal and 'O' ring for seal cover. Used when replacing shaft seal only.

Annual inspection kit
All 'O' rings, washers, seals etc to carry out an annual inspection.

Overhaul kit
When used with the seal kit and the annual inspection kit, this provides all the parts required to carry out an overhaul of an XRV compressor. Includes all 'O' rings, seals, journal roller bearings, thrust ball bearings and other items.

Rotor assemblies
Rotor assemblies are supplied completely assembled and balanced with balance pistons, locknuts,  washers etc. When fitting new rotors it is recommended that the seal kit, overhaul kit and annual inspection kit are also fitted.

WRV Spares Kits Available
Seal kit 
Shaft seal and 'O' ring for seal cover used when replacing shaft seal only.

Annual inspection kit
All 'O' rings, washers, seals and other items to carry out an annual inspection.

Thrust bearing kit 
Complete set of thrust bearings. When fitting new thrust bearings an annual inspection kit must be used.

Journal bearing kit 
Complete set of inlet and outlet end journal bearings. When fitting new journal bearings an inspection kit must be used. It is recommended that when fitting new journal bearings, that the thrust bearings and shaft seals are also fitted.

Slide valve assemblies 
WRV slide valve assemblies consist of piston rod, slide valve, locknuts and washers, including a new guide block and spindle. When fitting a new slide valve assembly an annual inspection kit must be used.

Rotor assemblies 
Rotor assemblies are supplied completely assembled and balanced with balance pistons, locknuts, washers etc. When replacing rotors it is recommended that the seal kit, thrust bearing kit, journal bearing kit and annual inspection kit are also fitted.
