Howden UK is accredited to ISO 9000 for both manufacturing and site activities. In addition our Construction & Maintenance Division is accredited as a 'Certified Fire Detection, Protection and Alarm System Company' to LPC standards.

Quality
Howden UK is dedicated to maintaining a quality management system which ensures customer satisfaction, delivered safely and on time. The quality management system is open to review by all company personnel and authorized third parties enabling observations to be made for incorporation into the system, which provides for continuous improvement.
 
Health, Safety & Welfare
We operate a health and safety management system in compliance with and accredited to OHSAS 18001.  We are continually raising the awareness of all employees through training and setting of management objectives. We seek continual improvement in health & safety and there is an ongoing challenge for all our managers to achieve this.

The Howden UK Construction and Maintenance Division has a full time safety department to ensure compliance with our safety policy, safe systems of work, production of safety plans, risk assessments and method statements for all work undertaken.  All of our operatives hold CCNSG safety passports.

Environmental
Howden UK is accredited to ISO 14001. The management system manual describes the core elements of the system and it is the duty of every employee to carry out their respective tasks in accordance with the procedures.
