Howden UK supplies rotary heat exchangers and custom engineered centrifugal fans primarily for the power generation, petrochemical and steel industries.

Our Construction and Maintenance Division, in addition to operating on Howden equipment, specializes in the construction, installation, commissioning, operation and maintenance of plant.

We supply submerged high pressure blowers for specialized applications, focusing on the nuclear industry.

We have several offices and factories throughout the UK:-

  • design engineering, project management, proposals and aftermarket support are carried out in Renfrew, Scotland.
  • our manufacturing facility is in Belfast, Northern Ireland, where centrifugal fans, axial fans and heat exchanger manufacture is undertaken.
  • our Construction and Maintenance Division's headquarters are in the West Midlands of England with regional offices strategically placed to provide cover throughout the UK and Ireland.

Howden UK gains 5-star Health and Safety award at first attempt

As part of a Howden iniative to move beyond the OHSAS 18001 accreditation, or local equivalent, that is the current traget for all our business units, Howden UK Construction and Maintenance Division undertook a British Safety Council 5-star audit. This is an internationally recognised assessment that compares an organisation's performance with acknowledged best practice, and awards a grading between 0 and 5 stars.
