Howden Compressors wins export award

Howden Compressors has been presented with an award for export achievement by the SCDI (Scottish Council for Development and Industry).

The award marked the company exporting 80% of production during 2006, and recognised the achievement in sustaining and growing exports at a time when the pound was extremely strong and the US dollar extremely weak.

The presentation took place at the SCDI gala dinner that was held on 19 November in Edinburgh, with Graeme Cook, HCL’s Operations Director, receiving the award from Tam Dalyell, FRSE, President SCDI.
