Burton Corblin now Howden BC Compressors

Burton Corblin, the Howden company manufacturing diaphragm,and piston gas process compressors has changed its name to Howden BC Compressors.

In 1995 the Howden Group, a world leader in the air & gas handling industry, acquired Burton Corblin. The new name incorporating our parent company’s name into ours emphasizes the company’s position as an integral part of the global Howden network headquartered in Renfrew, Scotland.

 

Since W. Burton manufactured its first oil free piston compressor and H. Corblin invented the metal diaphragm compressor in the 1920’s, the name Burton Corblin has been globally associated with high quality compressors for arduous industrial and process gas compression duties.
